If you’ve been searching for a Jackson Heights dispensary, you’re not alone — this neighborhood sits right in the middle of one of Queens’ busiest corridors, and legal cannabis options nearby are still catching up with demand. The good news is that Woodhaven Cannabis Co. is just a short ride away, and whether you’re planning to stop in or order delivery, this guide covers everything you need to know.
Why Jackson Heights Dispensary Options Are Limited (For Now)
New York’s adult-use cannabis rollout has been gradual. The state’s Office of Cannabis Management licenses each dispensary individually, which means legal storefronts are still opening across the five boroughs neighborhood by neighborhood. For Jackson Heights residents, that means the closest licensed option right now requires a quick trip — but it’s absolutely worth it when you know what to expect.
Woodhaven Cannabis Co. is located at 6308 Woodhaven Blvd, Rego Park, Queens, NY 11374. From Jackson Heights, you’re looking at a straightforward ride via the M or R train, or a short drive down Queens Blvd. Many Jackson Heights customers also choose delivery, which skips the trip entirely.
1. The Jackson Heights Dispensary Alternative: Delivery to Your Door
If leaving the neighborhood feels like a hassle, same-day delivery is a genuinely easy option. Woodhaven Cannabis Co. offers free delivery across Queens — including Jackson Heights — with an $80 minimum order and same-day availability until 9pm. You just need to be 21+ with a valid government-issued photo ID ready at the door.
The process is simple: browse the live menu at woodhavencannabis.com/store, place your order online, and wait for a confirmed delivery window. If you want a deeper look at how Queens delivery works, our post on weed delivery in Queens walks through the whole process step by step.
2. What to Bring Every Time
Whether you’re walking in or receiving a delivery, a valid government photo ID proving you’re 21+ is required — no exceptions. This applies to every visit and every delivery drop-off. Acceptable IDs include a driver’s license, passport, or state-issued ID card.
If you’re visiting the store, also think about payment. Woodhaven Cannabis Co. accepts cash, debit card, and Aeropay. Credit cards are not accepted, which is common at licensed dispensaries in New York right now. Having your preferred payment method ready keeps things quick.
3. Hours That Work Around Your Schedule
One thing that makes this Jackson Heights dispensary option stand out is the early opening time. Woodhaven Cannabis Co. opens at 8am Monday through Friday — earlier than most Queens dispensaries — which is genuinely useful if you commute through the area or prefer to pick up before the workday kicks off.
Full hours are: Mon–Thu 8am–10pm, Fri 8am–11pm, Sat 9am–11pm, Sun 9am–10pm. You can also place online pickup orders starting 15 minutes before opening until 20 minutes before close. Orders are typically ready in about 15 minutes, so the whole stop can take less time than a coffee run.
4. What’s in Stock
As a Jackson Heights dispensary alternative, Woodhaven Cannabis Co. carries a full range of licensed New York cannabis products. That includes flower, pre-rolls, vapes, concentrates, edibles, tinctures, topicals, and accessories — all sourced from licensed New York State growers.
If you’re newer to cannabis, it helps to understand what you’re looking at before you shop. Our guide on cannabis terpene profiles explains how flavor and aroma actually shape your experience, which is useful context when you’re comparing products. And if you’re curious about a specific category, the staff are always happy to walk you through what’s available.
For experienced shoppers, the concentrates and vape selection tends to draw regulars from across Queens. Whatever your preference, the menu updates regularly, so checking online before you visit is always a smart move.
5. Rewards, Online Ordering & Making It Easy
Every purchase at Woodhaven Cannabis Co. is connected to a rewards program through your phone number. There’s no app to download or card to carry — just give your number at checkout and your points accumulate automatically. It’s a simple way to get something back on purchases you’d be making anyway.
Online ordering for pickup is available directly through the website. You pick your products, choose a pickup time, and your order is waiting when you arrive — no browsing under pressure. If you’re visiting a dispensary for the first time and want to know what to expect, our Rego Park dispensary guide has a detailed breakdown of the in-store experience that applies whether you’re coming from Rego Park or Jackson Heights.
It’s also worth noting that this is a fully licensed adult-use dispensary, operating under OCM licence OCM-CAURD-25-000256. That means every product has been tested and labeled according to New York State requirements — something that unlicensed shops can’t offer.
