If you’ve been searching for a Woodhaven Blvd dispensary, you’ve probably noticed that licensed cannabis retail in Queens can be hard to find — and even harder to navigate if you’ve never visited one before. This guide covers everything you need to know before you walk through the door at Woodhaven Cannabis Co., located right on Woodhaven Boulevard in Rego Park.
What Makes the Woodhaven Blvd Dispensary Different
Woodhaven Cannabis Co. is a New York State licensed adult-use dispensary, operating under OCM licence OCM-CAURD-25-000256. That licence matters. It means every product on the shelves comes from a licensed New York grower, has been tested for safety and potency, and carries an accurate label. You won’t find grey-market or unlicensed product here.
The location on Woodhaven Blvd puts it at a natural crossroads for several Queens neighborhoods — Rego Park, Forest Hills, Middle Village, and Glendale are all within a short drive or bus ride. If you’ve already read our guides for nearby areas, like the Forest Hills dispensary guide or the Middle Village dispensary guide, you’ll recognize a lot of what’s covered here — because it’s the same store.
Tip 1: Bring a Valid ID — Every Single Time
This is the one rule that trips people up most often. Everyone entering the Woodhaven Blvd dispensary must be 21 or older and must present a valid government-issued photo ID at the door. That means a driver’s license, state ID, or passport — no exceptions.
This also applies to delivery orders. When a driver shows up at your door, they will verify your ID before handing anything over. New York State’s adult-use cannabis law requires age verification at every point of sale, and licensed dispensaries take that seriously.
Tip 2: Know Your Hours — This Dispensary Opens Early
One of the biggest practical advantages of the Woodhaven Blvd dispensary is the early weekday open. Doors open at 8am Monday through Friday — earlier than most Queens dispensaries. If you work an early shift or just want to pick up before the day gets busy, that matters.
Full hours are: Mon–Thu 8am–10pm, Fri 8am–11pm, Sat 9am–11pm, Sun 9am–10pm. Online orders for in-store pickup open 15 minutes before the store does and close 20 minutes before closing time. Most pickup orders are ready in about 15 minutes.
Tip 3: Order Online to Skip the Wait
Visiting a Woodhaven Blvd dispensary for the first time is much smoother when you’ve already browsed the menu at home. You can browse our menu before you leave, place a pickup order, and walk in knowing exactly what you’re getting. No pressure, no rushing through options at the counter.
The live menu shows current stock, so what you see is what’s actually available. Flower, pre-rolls, vapes, concentrates, edibles, tinctures, topicals, and accessories are all stocked, sourced from licensed New York State growers. Stock rotates, so checking online the day of your visit is always a good idea.
Tip 4: Delivery Is Available Across Queens — With No Delivery Fee
Can’t make it to the Woodhaven Blvd dispensary in person? Same-day delivery runs across a wide range of Queens neighborhoods: Rego Park, Forest Hills, Middle Village, Glendale, Maspeth, Kew Gardens, Elmhurst, Woodhaven, and nearby areas. Delivery is free, with an $80 minimum order. Orders placed by 9pm are eligible for same-day delivery.
The same ID rules apply at the door — your delivery driver will check your government photo ID when they arrive. Payment options for delivery (and in-store) are cash, debit card, or Aeropay. Credit cards are not accepted at this time.
Tip 5: Talk to the Staff — That’s What They’re There For
A good dispensary experience is as much about the people as the product. The staff at the Woodhaven Blvd dispensary are trained to help you understand what you’re looking at — from potency numbers to terpene profiles to the differences between consumption methods. If you’re new to cannabis or just new to a particular product type, ask.
Not sure whether you want flower, a pre-roll, or an edible? Our post on what to know before you buy pre-rolls is a great starting point. If you’ve been curious about tinctures or topicals, the budtenders can walk you through those too. There’s no such thing as a dumb question here.
One more thing worth knowing: Woodhaven Cannabis Co. has a rewards program linked to your phone number. Ask about it on your first visit — it’s a simple way to get something back from purchases you’d be making anyway.
